I am a conflict resolution consultant, mediator and lawyer. I focus on exploring and mitigating the impact of interpersonal and intergroup conflicts on organizations in the public and private sector.
My mission is to empower leaders and teams to not only level up their communication and conflict resolution skills, but also respect each others' unique differences. With a background in human rights, law and business, I know how important resolving conflicts can be for the success of a team. It leads to greater workplace unity, collaboration, and growth.

Prior to founding WorkWell Solutions, Dorna led human rights investigations and conducted workplace mediations
for Canada's largest transit system, the Toronto Transit Commission. Previously, Dorna completed her legal training at an international law firm, Baker McKenzie LLP, where she worked in corporate, labour and employment law. Dorna's passion for conflict resolution was born almost a decade ago when she advised on international peace-building and human rights initiatives for an intergovernmental organization in Stockholm.
Dorna holds her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University's Faculty of Law and her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in International Studies from York University. Dorna earned the Qualified Mediator (Q.Med) designation from the ADR Institute of Canada. She is a roster mediator for the Diverse Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada. Dorna is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario and the ADR Institute of Canada.
Dorna lives in Toronto with her partner. She loves to meditate and travel, which has fostered her curiosity about the world, the mind, and the prospect of empowering others to achieve greater collaboration and unity. Dorna speaks English, French and Farsi.
